Finally I burnt my Suse 10.1 from ftp://kambing.vlsm.org after I download for months because of my slow internet connection. I had to be very patient with that. And finally here we are with Suse 10.1 on my desktop.
I downloaded 5 CDs and soon after I burnt them I checked the integrity of the CDs to make sure that all the CDs are OK.
My machine is AMD Duron 750MHz with 512 of RAM, Mainboard ECS KS7OM, Sis 640 VGA on board, Shared memory 16MB, SIS 7018 on board Sound Card (C-Media in Windows), 20 GB of Harddisk, on board LAN.
I put the first CD on the drive and boot from it. The first time I saw it I was impressed by the clean and sleek look of the desktop of the installer. It's different from Suse 10.0 that I've been using.
